The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Hon. Justice J.T Tsoho has issued Practice Direction No. 2 of 2020 on pre-election matters which is to be applicable throughout the Federal High Court in Nigeria.

According to the Direction, Federal High Court Judges shall have the right to continue hearing pre-election matters they’ve started before the commencement of vacation.

Also, petitions against a Judge would not be entertained in pre-election matters except in compliance with the rules prescribed in the Direction.
