Wife of Anambra State governor, Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, had handed over keys of two bungalows to two widows in the state.

The widows, Mrs. Ifeoma Ogbuanukwu and Mrs. Monica Okeke, hailed from Umuehi village, Akwaihedi in Nnewi South Local Government and Ezihu Village, Igboukwu in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State respectively.

Handing over the keys to the elated widows, Mrs. Obiano said that building of houses for indigent women, especially widows was one of the major projects being executed by her Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), to ameliorate the plight of women.

The NGO, she said, had been caring for the less privileged members of society and reduction in women-children vulnerability, while maintaining the dignity of the physically challenged persons in the state.
