Inter Miami forward, Lionel Messi, has named Pep Guardiola and Ronaldinho as the two men who had a huge impact on him during his time at Barcelona.

Messi made his debut for the LaLiga club while Ronaldinho was at the club, with the Brazilian acting as a mentor during his early years.

But the Argentina captain became unstoppable under the tutelage of Guardiola.
When asked about people who marked his time at Camp Nou the most, Messi first chose Guardiola, “because I had him as a coach for many years and we achieved incredible things that we would never have imagined.

“A teammate was Ronaldinho because of the way he received me, how he helped me, and how helped me a lot in my first moments in the first team”.
