The New Chairman of the Commission, Bala Aliyu Gusau, who was earlier sworn in, made the announcement while addressing journalists on the preparation ahead of the conduct of the local council poll.

Gusau also disclosed that the sale and return of expression of interest forms would commence on October.25th 2024 to November 1st 2024.

The chairman said the commission is acting in accordance with law number four of the Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASEC), and it would keep the public posted on any other development regarding the local council poll.
