The Professionals Committee of the Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council held its Sub Committee nomination meeting yesterday at the Party’s Secretariat on Ikpokpan Road, Benin City.

In a statement by Hon. Tanko Ileogbe, Secretary, he said, “The meeting demonstrated the strong support of Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa’s loyal followers for the MODEN project.”
Under the leadership of Director Dr. Elizabeth Ebosele, the committee assigned responsibilities and strategies to subcommittee members for the upcoming 2024 electioneering campaign. The committee stressed the significance of securing victory in the Edo State gubernatorial election and committed to leveraging its extensive network to gain the support of Professional Associations across the state.

The meeting was attended by representatives from various Professional Associations in Edo State, as well as key APC figures such as Chief Osahon Airhunmwunde and Dr. Paddy Emmanuel Iyamu. Also present were Director, Dep Director- Hon. Osaretin Edosomwan, Asst. Director-Dr. Tawa Idubor, State Assistant Secretary Hon. Sam Oboh, and other committee members.

Barr. Douglas Igbankwa, convener of Professionals for MODEN, and Hon. John Akhigbe, representing the professionals sub committee for contact & mobilisation, joined the delegation of prominent personalities to share insights and strategies with the committee. The collaborative effort aims to ensure a successful outcome for Senator Monday Okpebholo and the APC in the 2024 Gubernatorial election.
