Former Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Lokoja Branch, Michael Olorunmola condemns the kidnapping of a lawyer, Rukayyat Mustafa by unidentified persons in Sokoto.

Mr Olorunmola said “I strongly condemn the abduction of Rukayyat Mustafa, a lawyer abducted from her residence in Sokoto by suspected bandits. This no doubt calls for an urgent need for improved security, given the recent attacks on legal practitioners. Decisive actions needs to be taken by the government against this criminality to ensure her safe release.
I therefore call on the Government to enhance security measures to protect all citizens.
