The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has announced a shortlist of four companies being considered as potential Election Platform Service Providers for upcoming NBA elections.

In a notice released on May 14th, 2024, the ECNBA named the following shortlisted companies after a preliminary assessment of submitted bids:

1. Condovoter of Toronto, Canada
2. Dataflex Ltd of Victoria Island, Lagos
3. Aberdeen Strategies, Systems and Solutions (Aberdeen Commercial Group) of Abuja
4. INITS Limited of Yaba, Lagos

The ECNBA stated that the shortlisted companies will proceed to the next stage involving technical and financial review.

Members with Objections

The notice gave NBA members until May 19th, 2024 to submit any legally justified objections to the consideration of the shortlisted companies. Objections must be a maximum of two pages and supported by relevant documents.

The ECNBA emphasized that only objections received from identified individuals would be considered, stating “No faceless or anonymous submission shall be considered.”

The selection of an Election Platform Service Provider is a key part of the NBA’s preparations for upcoming elections to elect new national leadership for the prominent professional association.

The ECNBA notice was signed by the Chairman Oluseun Abimbola SAN and Secretary Huwaila Ibrahim Muhammad.
