NOTIFICATION OF DISEASE IN NIGERIA…PENALTY FOR FAILING.

In Nigeria, every animal owner whose animal is infected or suspected to be infected with a disease shall quarantine such animal and notify a Veterinary surgeon in the service of government of the disease.

Imprisonment for 3 months or fine of N250
