The Ondo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun, on Monday paraded no fewer than 62 suspects allegedly involved in various criminal activities across the state.

According to the Commander of Amotekun in the state, Adetunji Adeleye, the suspects were apprehended in different locations across the 18 local government areas of the state.

While parading the suspects at the headquarters of the corps in Akure, the state capital, Adeleye attributed the success of the operation to the collaborative efforts of Amotekun and other security agencies in the state.

The Amotekun boss maintained that the combined synergy and intelligence sharing among the agencies played a vital role in the arrest of the suspects.

The suspects were said to be involved in various criminal activities, including armed robbery, kidnapping, cultism, and drug trafficking.

Adeleye lauded residents of the state for their unwavering support and provision of credible information to Amotekun.

He further assured the public that the agency was committed to maintaining law and order, particularly during the festive season when criminal activities tend to increase.
