The Arewa Young Lawyers Forum has Condemned the Killing of Unarmed Civilians during Military Operation in Tudun Biri.

The forum in a statement made available to BarristerNg is demanding full investigation, Accountability and Adequate Compensation.

Arewa Young Lawyers Forum’s condemnation of the killings and their demands for a full investigation, adequate compensation to the families of the deceased, full medical treatment for the injured victims, and bringing the individuals responsible to justice are indeed reasonable and necessary steps to address the situation.
It is of utmost importance for the government of the day, to respond to these demands in a fair and transparent manner to ensure that justice is served and the rights of the affected individuals are upheld.

Accountability and a thorough investigation are crucial in situations like this and should be the order of the day to maintain trust of the people in our legal system, the government and by extension the rule of law by ensuring the protect the rights of all citizens.

We sincerely condole with the family of all the deceased who lost their lives and wish speedy recovery to all injured persons.
