The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has officially unveiled its new mobile application to digitize a broad range of services for legal practitioners and the general public.
Dubbed the NBA Digital application, the platform which can be downloaded free on Google Play store aims at enabling lawyers conveniently carry out critical bar activities online.
Some key services now available on the app include payment of annual Bar Practice Fees (BPF), registration for the flagship NBA Annual General Conference, verification status of lawyers, lodging complaints on conduct issues and connecting with required legal representation.
Announcing the landmark development, the NBA notified members that the app eliminates the need to physically visit or correspond with the national secretariat in Abuja for routine administrative matters.
The innovative solution is expected to significantly ease bottlenecks associated with the self-regulatory role of the NBA, while promoting accountability and improving service delivery to the public.
