Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has described Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest as shocking.
The former Premier League star said this while highlighting a major problem for Chelsea.
Pochettino’s Blues were beaten 1-0 by Nottingham Forest at home on Saturday.
Anthony Elanga scored the only goal as Forest ran away 1-0 winners at Stamford Bridge.
The defeat means that Chelsea have won just one of their four games.
Merson watched the game for Sky Sports and said, “It happened again today, they never looked like scoring a goal.
“It’s disappointing. I think they’ll be alright away from home, when teams have a go, because of Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling’s pace.
“This has been happening for a couple of years now, trying to break teams down.
“But for the next 30-50 minutes, it was slow, the fans were getting frustrated. Mauricio Pochettino’s job is to get this team up and really pressing.”
