People actually talk about the Nigerian Police , as if they were an Organisation from Planet Mars or is if they have no fathers , mother , brothers ,cousins or friends in the Nigerian Police.They make the Police the battered child of the Nigerian Society,they vilify them, chastise them and even demean them.Truth be told an average Nigerian Police Man is like a National Orphan, if they could be compared with many other organisations that get their dues ,they are indeed Saints , when compared to the mind blowing corruption and shenanigans that take Place in this Country.

The Problem of the Nigerian Police is not the IGP ,the DIGs ,AIGs or the CPs, the problem can be found in Aso Rock, National Assembly and Government Houses An average Nigerian Governor takes home about 600 Million Naira Monthly as Security Votes , meant for security of the State , of which the Police is the lead Security Agency in Nigeria.In a year that is 7.2 Billion Naira .In 4 years , 28.8 Billion Naira, in 8 Years it will 57.6 Billion Naira .If you multiplied that by 36 for the 36 State Governors for 8 Years ,it comes to an average 2.0 Trillion Naira .That is money collected by 36 persons called Governors in Nigeria for about 8 years and most of it is pocketed by them.This amount is pocketed by them and it is never retired .When EFCC tries to prosecute the culprits , the system finds a way to use technicality to let them go.

An average Nigerian condemns alot , because he has not had the opportunity to be in the system.When a Nigerian is not in power , he becomes an activist .Some of the so called activists act like armed robbers , armed with activism , they pilfer not just the money of people , but the soul of society.

An activist has tried to sweep rape under table .Another is a purveyor of Falsehoods against a colleague, which he knows to be false , but chooses to dwell on lies to pervert justice all for money or for God knows what .If a Police Man did any of those,hmmn.Hell hath no fury like a Nigerians roasting their police on social media

Can I shock you you ?In the Benin Bar where I practice law and where I was Publicity Secretary , I feel safer among Police Men , than among some Lawyers, not all o.We now settle Lawyers in the Police Station and the Lion Bar has turned to some thing else .I am even now ashamed to identify myself with the Benin Bar , as it has turned to a sham , filled of symbolic betrayals and an inept leadership that is more concerned about meetings at the Government House or Government Committees than at the Situation Room at the Bar House.

I remember when I was Publicity Secretary at the Lion Bar and a Lawyer was kidnapped, while we were trending our responses with threats with the help of bloggers and media men ,the Kidnappers saw the blogs and posts and while still in transit with the Lawyer , they confirmed he was the Lawyer and let him go ,with out him paying a dime .

Now at the Lion Bar, if you were in trouble you are on your own and your they will even take sides with your accusers before they hear from own.In my case , they even chose to do a hatchet man’s job in a grand conspiracy with some very powerful forces as powerful as can ever be and it took the intervention of all the Almighty God to deliver me from the clutches of some these persons acting like hyenas , you can even now call it the Hyenas’ Bar .

This is not a description of a vast majority of Lawyers in Benin .They are still nice and prim and proper.But right now the Hyenas have taken over .The last thing you can do is to send a complaint to the Bar House , you will know the meaning of the Police is your friend

Now , It is safer to send a complaint to the Police , than to send one to the Bar House.
