Eligible students of Kwara State tertiary institutions have been directed to register for the fuel subsidy removal palliative programme of the state government.
The registration, which commenced on August 7, ends by midnight on August 30, 2023.
Recall that Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State had approved payment of fuel subsidy removal palliative to undergraduate students of Kwara State origin in public-owned tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The registration procedure directed prospective students to visit the link https://scholarship.kw.gov.ng/palliative, click on the “Students’ Palliative” link to register their biodata on the platform and obtain log in details and verification through the registered email address provided on the platform.
In a statement in Ilorin, the state capital, on Monday, the chairman of the government’s Committee on Students’ Palliative, Prof. Shehu Abdulraheeem Adaramaja, directed applicants to log in with their passwords to fill out the application form online.
“Scan and upload the following documents online (mandatory): a recent passport-size photograph, a citizenship certificate, your admission letter, and an institutionally valid ID card,” the statement added.
