Popular Nigerian Lawyer, Writer and Activist -Douglas Ogbankwa Esq., has withdrawn his case against the Nigerian Police Force,the Police Service Commission and others , saying he did that to allow for constant Interrogation in the issues involved with the Police .It will be recalled that the Lawyer , Writer and Activist, who is the Convener of the Security Situation Room had dragged the Police and others to Edo State High Court to check the arbitrary use of Police Powers in a matter that concerned him.

In a Notice of Discontinuance filed at the registry of the Court dated the 3rd of July ,2023 ,but brought to the attention of the Court in Suit No B/189m/2023 :Douglas Ogbankwa Esq. v Nigeria Police Force & Ors., on Friday the 14th of July,,2023 before Edo State High Court No 6, Benin City, following an Application ,made by Douglas Ogbankwa Esq himself in Court for the withdrawal of the Matter , the presiding Judge ,Hon Justice Peter Akinhiero struck out the matter accordingly .
