The registration for the 2023 Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association earlier slated to commence on the 1st of April had been indefinitely postponed due to purported technical challenges.

Findings by Newsmen reveal that as against the approved, published Conference calendar, registration of intending participants did not commence on the 1st of this month.

According to a source privy to the conference planning, the registration was postponed to allow the NBA ICT team time to make requisite adjustments to the registration portal.

The source disclosed, “Conference registration date of 1 April 2023 is now postponed to allow the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) IT team time to make requisite adjustments to the registration portal which would allow for a seamless registration process.

The date for the commencement of registration for the 2023 Annual General Conference will be communicated in due course”
