The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has called on her members for inputs to the amendment of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015.
In a notice signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Akorede Habeeb Lawal, the office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) is in the process of proposing an amendment to the Act with the purpose of bringing it in line with the National Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy (NCPS) 2021, and has invited the NBA to make input to the proposed amendment.
It is in lieu of this that NBA places a call to its members to give input inform if memoranda, position papers and/or proposals which are expected to be forwarded to ayodeji.oni@nigerianbar.org.ng on or before Wednesday 5th October, 2022 by 11. 59 PM.
