An FCT Area High Court Judge, FCT Sharia Court of Appeal, Mal. Usman Imam Esq. has tendered his resignation to the Secretary of the FCT Judicial Service Committee through the Grand Khadi, Alh. Rufai Imam.
In the notice titled “A Voluntary One Month Notice of Resignation in Lieu of March Salary, Commences 1st March 2022 to 31st”, which was sighted by legaldeskNG, the Sharia Judge expressed his intention to resign from the FCT Judiciary.
He appreciated Allah for guiding him in diligently discharging his duties during his time as a Judicial officer under the FCT Judicial Service Committee.
Part of the letter dated 1st March, 2022 reads;
“I also utilise this opportunity to express my ultimate gratitude to Allah, the Most High who has been guiding me more particularly in discharging my Atra Court Judge responsibilities judicially and judiciously.”
He revealed that the reason for his resignation is because his promotion within the service has been pending for six years for unknown and undefined reasons.
Usman wrote; “However, with all the divine wisdom rained on me, my six year promotion has been pendulous for unknown and undefined reasons.”
He finally wished himself success in his future responsibilities as he proceed from the FCT Judiciary.
“Finally, my voluntary resignation decision hinges on what Allah has said on those who are entitled to seek his refuge because His land is very wide to accommodate aggrieved elsewhere.
In addition may Allah receive what I have done and seen within the circle I am living and also may He bless my future responsibilities in the larger society. Ameen”
