Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule has nominated a 28-year-old Abimiku Hanatu Bala, a lawyer from Lafia Local Government Area as a commissioner-nominee in Nasarawa State.
Hannah graduated from the Nasarawa State University Keffi in 2016 and proceeded to the Nigerian law school where she graduated in 2018.
Governor Sule equally nominated a nephew of the former Governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, Alhaji Mohammed Tanimu also from Lafia as a commissioner-nominee.
Speaker of the Assembly, Balarabe Abdullahi read out the list of the 15 commissioner-nominees sent in by Governor Sule on the floor of the Assembly yesterday in Lafia.
Also, yesterday Governor Sule presented 2022 budget proposal of N109.801, 524,879.49 billion to the House of Assembly for consideration and approval.
“Recurrent expenditure is N70, 891, 582,458.57 representing 64.56 per cent while capital expenditure stands at N38, 909, 942, 420. 92 representing 35.44 per cent
“The sectorial breakdown of the budget include administrative sector, Government House- 8.94 billion, SSG office- N9.40 billion, legislative- N1.76 billion, pension and gratuity- N4.8 billion, works, housing and transport- 14.05 billion, environment- 1.64 billion, finance- N8.98 billion, and health 11.85 billion, among others,” he said.
The Governor said the education sector got the highest allocation of N31.83 billion.
