Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has presented N136,265,988.140 billion budget estimation for 2023 to the state House of Assembly.
The 2023 budget estimate, tagged; “Budget of Consolidation” was contained a letter from governor Gboyega received by the house on September, 29 by the Speaker.
The Parliamentarian has switched into action on the 2023 budget estimate due to it’s public importance so as to meet with budget circle of a particular fiscal year.
The Speaker, Timothy Owoeye in his remarks, observed that the 2023 budget estimate christened “Budget of Consolidation” is nothing to do with politics at all.
He noted that the budget estimate is beyond politicking said that the issue of budget is based on constitution and rules.
He noted that the governor need to perform its roles according to the constitution and rules of the House.
