6. The Kaduna State Police Command, on Saturday confirmed the arrest of several high-profile kidnappers, cattle rustlers and vandals across the state. In a statement released to newsmen, the command’s Public Relations Officer, Mansir Hassan, said operatives of ‘Operation Fushin Kada,’ nabbed six suspected kidnappers, one cattle rustler, five vandals and recovered firearms as well as charms.
7. Four people, including a soldier, were reportedly killed by suspected cultists at North Bank, a suburb of Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State, Friday night. Confirming the incident on Saturday, Chairman of the Vigilante Group known as Operation Shara in the North Bank, Nura Umar, said that four people, including a soldier, were killed in separate attacks.
8. The Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume, has advised Daniel Bwala to seek forgiveness from Vice President Kashim Shettima.
