The General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Joyce Oduah has been suspended from office.

It was gathered that the leadership of the Association convened an emergency meeting on Monday where all National Officers including the General Secretary and the President who have both been at loggerheads over the weekend were present.

There was an agreement during the meeting that the General Secretary should be suspended with immediate effect, and the Assistant General Secretary should take over until the NBA-AGM.
