The Court of Appeal Abuja Division has removed the Controversial Factional Chairman of the Ebonyi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Silas Onu Esq.

The Justices of the Court of Appeal, in a motion on Notice for stay of execution filed by the PDP Ebonyi State Chapter, lambasted Mr Onu for being desperate and disrespecting the Court by his actions in assuming the Chairmanship position of the Ebonyi PDP notwithstanding the pendency of the motion.

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Ebonyi State had filed an appeal against the decision of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja removing Mr Tochukwu Okorie as the Chairman of the Party and directing the PDP to swear Mr Onu into Office.

But Mr Onu notwithstanding the Pendency of the Appeal and an accompanying motion for stay of execution, assumed the position of the PDP Ebonyi State Chairman. The Court Appeal while granting the motion for stay of execution in Motion number 444, lambasted Mr Onu for disrespecting the court with his desperate actions.
