In Nigeria, the commander of every aircraft must always take measures to avoid possibilities of collision with other aircrafts.

Consequently, where two aircrafts are are approaching head-on in the air, and there is danger of collision, each shall alter its course to the right to avoid mid air accident.

In history, over 66 mid-air collisions have reportedly taken place.
