Many distinguished persons are set to discuss topical issues at the NBA Ibadan 70th Anniversary Celebration scheduled for 13th – 18th December, 2024.

This was made known to newsmen by the Chairman of the planning committee, Mr. Mutalubi Ojo Adebayo, SAN at the pre-event press conference held yesterday, 12th December, 2024.

The Learned Silk highlighted the different events lined up to celebrate the milestone of the Ibadan Bar which include: the Juma’ah Service, Inter-Denominational Church service, Health walk, Football Competition, Social Events and intellectually engaging Plenary Sessions. He stated that the opening ceremony will be chaired by Hon. Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, GCON (former Chief Justice of Nigeria) and the keynote speech delivered by Chief Wole Olanipekun, CFR, SAN, D. Litt, LL. D, FNIALS, (Past NBA President and Former Chairman, Body of Benchers).

The expected guests and discussants at the events include: His Excellency, Engr, Oluwaseyi Makinde FNSE, (Governor of Oyo State); Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, (Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.); Chief Folake Solanke, SAN, CON; Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN (President, Nigerian Bar Association); Dr Zacheaus Adedeji (Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Services); Professor Yusuff Alli, SAN; Dr. John O.
