The rift between a Judge of the Cross River State, Justice Agnes Onyebueke, and her official driver, Otu Okon Edem, has been resolved amicably, Legaldeskng(LDN) had learnt.
According to the information we obtained, the chief judge of the state, who is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), Justice Maurice Eneji, FICMC, was instrumental in seeing that the issue was resolved.
LDN also gathered that a four-man Committee set up by the Cross River State Judiciary looked into it and resolved the case of the alleged assault.
Also, seeing the viral video, the Registrar of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), Mr. Segun Ogunyannwo, immediately contacted the Hon. Chief Judge of Cross River State, urging him to kindly intervene. He, in reply, assured him that the matter would be resolved.
Recall that Okon Edem’s sister, Debora, in a viral video, accused Justice Agnes Onyebueke, of assault against her brother.
In the 17 minutes video, she called on the Cross River State authority and other relevant agencies to investigate the case of alleged abuse and assault meted out to her elder brother by the Judge.
