A 33-year-old Chinese national identified as Chen Wang has been reported stabbed to death in his office at Fujiada Electronics Technology Company Ltd, located along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Wang, an expatriate and manager of the company, was allegedly killed in his office around noon on Sunday.

The police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, on Wednesday, told DAILY POST that the incident was reported to the Ogere police division by one Akosile Akinsanmi, a manager at the company.

The company’s workers were on their routine break when Jonah, along with his girlfriend, allegedly entered the office of the Chinese national, stabbed him, and then fled the scene.

Odutola said, “The company’s manager stated that around noon on January 12, during the workers’ break, a man named Jonah, whose last name is unknown, along with his unidentified girlfriend, both of whom are still at large, entered the office of Chen Wang, a 33-year-old Chinese national, and fatally stabbed him.”

Following the report, Odutola noted that detectives from the Ogere Police Division conducted a scene investigation, during which photographs of the deceased were taken.

She added that the corpse has been deposited at the Babcock University Teaching Hospital for a postmortem examination.
